When you submit an enquiry we collect the name, company, email address and message you choose to give us. Nothing more. We do not require a phone number and we do not ask for financial information through this website.
Our host records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, for security and performance. We do not operate advertising trackers or sell data to third parties, and we do not use this site to build advertising profiles.
To reply to you, and to maintain a record of the conversation if it becomes a commercial relationship. That is the entire purpose.
Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA, we rely on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us.
Submitting an enquiry is consent for us to reply to that enquiry. It is not consent to receive marketing email. We comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation: we do not add enquirers to a mailing list without a separate, explicit opt-in, and every commercial message we send carries an unsubscribe mechanism and our identifying information.
Enquiries are retained while the relationship is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Information is accessible to the principals of Diaz Industries Inc. and to service providers who host our site, email and records, under contract and only to the extent required to provide those services.
Where a matter involves our commercial real estate practice, additional records may be retained by the brokerage as required by British Columbia real estate legislation. Those records are governed by the brokerage’s own retention obligations.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@diaz-industries.com and we will respond within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
